Philosophy
Aligned with PNC/HEC (2006, 2010) standards, we uphold the belief that every individual possesses inherent worth and dignity. Our philosophy centers on addressing the spiritual, biological, social, and psychological needs of people, ensuring their right to the highest achievable level of health and quality of life. Our commitment to Islam fosters a strong ethical framework that guides our positive interactions and activities.
- Environment and Society: We recognize the interplay between individuals and their environment. Society, composed of closely-knit communities, shares values and beliefs but may face diverse health care needs. The family, as a core societal unit, supports its members in navigating societal challenges.
- Health Continuum: Health spans a continuum from wellness to illness, reflecting the capacity of individuals and communities to meet their needs and maintain a good quality of life. Universal access to health care is a fundamental right, with Primary Health Care playing a crucial role in national development.
- Lifelong Learning: We believe in continuous learning within a supportive and inquisitive environment. Our faculty is dedicated to fostering problem-solving and critical thinking skills, integrating traditional values with modern practices to advance nursing standards.
- Nursing Integration: Nursing combines bio-psychosocial sciences and spirituality to deliver essential services. By blending traditional values with modern technology, nursing transcends cultural and national boundaries, evolving to meet global health needs.
- Collaborative Education: Our approach to nursing education involves collaboration between teachers and learners. Faculty members mentor students, encouraging scholarly activities and fostering professional development within diverse health care contexts.
